Rope Jams

Ropium Rope jams are a place where people who like shibari come together to hang out and tie each other. You don't have to have experience, people are usually happy to share. You don't have to have a partner, you're free to come and socialize. You don't have to participate, watching is fine.

I don't charge for these events. I want them to be a sort-of third space where people can come to hang out. Bringing snacks or drinks is always welcome, but not necessary.

The rules: Be a decent human

That's really it. Use common sense, don't be a dick and have fun.

If you are new to these kinds of events or kink in general, here is really all you need to know:

• Don't interrupt people while they're mid-tie.
• Don't touch people's ropes without explicit consent;
• Don't touch people without explicit consent; and
• Don't take pictures or videos without explicit consent.

My events run largely on the concept that people can behave as responsible adults. It's a wild idea, I know, but I beleve it fosters a healthy community of people that know how to make good decisions and treat each other with respect.
